This course aims to equip the candidate with the skills to operate an Automated External Defibrillator following the current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines. This course is for candidates who require training or refreshing in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Course Syllabus Overview
- Resuscitation
- Safety and legal aspects of defibrillation
- Life threatening cardiac rhythms
- Application and practical training in the use of the AED
On successful completion of the course the candidate will receive a certificate of attendance.
This is valid for one year.
