The HSE strongly recommends that all first aiders attend annual refresher training to update their first aid skills.
Course Syllabus Overview
- What to do in an emergency
- Management of the unconscious casualty (including fits)
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- Treatment of wounds, bleeding and shock
On successful completion of the course the candidate will receive a certificate of attendance.
It was an action packed day and our instructor was very engaging, approachable and great at explaining procedures and answering questions.
